LHMC & PBMC Joint Reunion at Guthrie Grove

Friday, September 4, 2026 – Monday, September 7, 2026

Registration from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, September 4th.  A picnic style dinner will be available beginning at 6:30 PM.

 

Camp will dismiss on Monday, September 7th (Labor Day) before noon.

 

Cost for Full Retreat: $160 (Cabin/Duplex/RV), ($185 (Lodge) 

(Kids 0-4 years are free.)

 

Cost for Partial Attendees: $60 per overnight (includes 3 meals), $35 for day only guests (includes up to 3 meals)

From the directors, “Hello everyone! As we prepare for this Labor Day Joint Reunion adventure, we are excited to invite volunteers to join us in making this experience unforgettable! Your help is vital in creating a welcoming and inspiring environment for all to enjoy. We are looking for volunteers to help with all aspects of camp: KP workers, kids’ activities, campfires, music, interest class leaders (2 one hour class sessions for various ages – do you have a hobby, craft or other interesting topic you’d like to share?)  Please indicate how you would like to serve in the comments section on the registration form below. Guest Ministry: Janne’ Grover, Member of the First Presidency and Counselor to Community of Christ President Stassi Cramm

 

Janne’ Grover is passionate about lifelong learning, the power of music and communal singing, and the variety of ways in which spiritual community forms and faithfully responds in Christ’s mission. Previous church employment includes Council of Twelve Apostles, Director of Formation Ministries, disciple formation specialist, and Daily Prayer for Peace coordinator.

Before church employment, Janné served as a high school and middle school band and orchestra director, then enjoyed dedicated time at home with her three children. She earned a Master of Arts in religion from Graceland University and Community of Christ Seminary; an Education Specialist in secondary administration and superintendency from Northwest Missouri State University; a Master of Arts in instrumental conducting from Florida State University; and a Bachelor of Science in music education from the University of Missouri-Columbia
