Post-Secondary Retreat 2027 – “Expecto Patronum: Called to Be Light”

Ages: Must be graduated from High School (18-25 years old)

In a world that can feel dark and heavy, the Patronus charm works because of one thing: a memory that holds real joy. This retreat invites you to look for those memories. Think of the moments of grace, belonging, and hope that carry you through hard times, and the call to become a light for others.
Over a weekend together, we’ll gather for worship, music, small-group conversation, games, and good food. We’ll ask what sustains us when things get dark, where we’ve seen God show up, and how we’re being called to share that light. A little magic is encouraged, so wear a robe, a scarf, or your favorite house colors if you like.
Our time together is rooted in Community of Christ’s Enduring Principles, especially Grace and Generosity, Blessings of Community, and All Are Called. Whatever you’re carrying, whether it’s questions, doubts, or a full calendar, you belong here.
Who should come: College-age and young adult friends, including those just beyond college. Bring a friend, and no church background is required.

Cost: $50.00 per person. (The total cost is $120, however the mission centers will contribute $70 for each participant, so your cost is only $50!)
